Statement of Purpose:

In the images of falling statues, and naked Iraqi prisoners stacked in grotesque human pyramids reminiscent of Jewish bodies being shoved into mass graves at Auschwitz, we have witnessed the arrival of a new era. In the old days, military power was used to end a regime by breaking a nation. Today, we have the power to free a nation by first destroying it. My how we have grown! In the images of hooded Iraqis with electrodes attached to their extremeties, we have seen the ageless face of human freedom. One can only imagine the joy in the eyes of those hooded, broken men. Decades of lies, intimidation, and torture by Saddam Hussein have been swept aside so that the Iraqi people could experience the sweet nectar of liberty in the blanket bombings of Fallujah. Even the agonizing screams of children being raped by their Amarican backed captors in Abu Ghraib, or the wailing of their motheres as they are forced to watch can not cover up the shouts of joy emenating from a few of the Iraqis. As we think back on what we have accomplished, as we reflect on the devestation that is Fallujah, and Mosul, and Sadr City, and we pause and remember the smiling face of Sgt Graner, and his famous thumbs up, All I can say is 'MISSION ACCOMPLISHED'!!!
