Statement of Purpose:

The memorial will consist of a small shack on the right side of a clearing. Inside the shack will be an ever-growing pile of scraps of paper, anywhere from 16,000 to 18,000. No one should ever, ever enter the shack. This is important. A sign should be posted outside, reminding people not to enter the shack. On the left side of the clearing there will be a clean and well-manicured garden (with tasteful shrubs and rhododendra) with about 1000 to 1500 small scraps of paper sitting in the center. There will be a big sign next to this pile of scraps saying LOOK HERE. It should cost around 5.25 to enter the war memorial, except on Tuesdays, or if you have a small child, in which case it will be free. There will be ushers at all times walking around saying "shh, don't speak" in different languages.
