Statement of Purpose: This structure would be placed in the center of the site; to align on axis, thru the trees, and provide a visual distance with the White House. The structure is accessed by a series of spiraling ramps. On the inner core walls, names of everyone who served duty during this war will be inscribed in stone. Because the war is not over, it is difficult to determine the additional amount of soldiers needed. Dependent on the amount of soldiers, the actual height for structure will be determined when the war is over. As for material: white stone.
